Many thanks to all who turned out for Swords Woodland Association’s celebration of National Tree Week in the Atrium of FCC today.
Some pupils from Mary Queen of Ireland school Rivermeade and St. Finian’s Community College built a feelings tree and took part in a quiz. Members of Swords Tidy Towns and Fingal Volunteers were also in attendance.
They’re were some really interesting and informative talks on biodiversity from Orla Farrell – Easi Treesie, Senator Lynn Boylan and Kevin Halpenny – Fingal County Council’s Senior Parks Superintendent.
What fantastic afternoon.
